Congratulations to Florida’s HI-TECH Fellows!

The 8th Annual HITEC (High Impact Technology Exchange) Conference is just a few days away.  The conference is produced by the NSF ATE Centers and projects to disseminate and share the impact they have made on teacher, students and the community of advanced technology industry that we serve with their NSF ATE funding. The growing success of this conference is reflected by its ability to offer conference attendance fellowships to Community College faculty who have not attended the conference the past five years.  I am pleased to share that five of the first cohort of 11 HITEC fellows 5 EW from Florida Community Colleges.  They are supported by their colleges for travel to this amazing professional development conference July 17-21 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Congratulations to these emerging leaders in Florida’s community colleges!!

HITECH 2018 will be held in Florida’s exotic, exciting MIAMI. If you are a community college faculty teaching in a high-tech workforce education discipline, consider connecting to an NSF Center to find out more about how to apply for a 2018 HITEC Fellowship or visit www.highimpact-tec.org.
