The 8th
Annual HITEC (High Impact Technology Exchange) Conference is just a few days
away. The conference is produced by the
NSF ATE Centers and projects to disseminate and share the impact they have made
on teacher, students and the community of advanced technology industry that we
serve with their NSF ATE funding. The growing success of this conference is
reflected by its ability to offer conference attendance fellowships to Community
College faculty who have not attended the conference the past five years. I am pleased to share that five of the first
cohort of 11 HITEC fellows 5 EW from Florida Community Colleges. They are supported by their colleges for
travel to this amazing professional development conference July 17-21 in Salt
Lake City, Utah. Congratulations to these emerging leaders in Florida’s
community colleges!!
